6. TECOMA Business Ventures

This is the business arm of the organization responsible for local resource mobilization. TECOMA AICA Moringa Social Enterprise has been designed in a way that promotes the growing and consumption of Moringa in the local community. The local man grows Moringa for his health, consumption and the additional product like seeds are sold and then TECOMA extracts the oil that will add income into the local community therefore thus appreciating TECOMA work. TECOMA adds value through making cosmetics using the Moringa oil and selling to the middle-income earners and thus raising revenue. TECOMA re-invests in community by redistributing seedlings to save the environment. The community will harvest the leaves and resell seeds to TECOMA which improves their household income, TECOMA extracts oil thus bringing in more revenue which can be used to implement other strategic plans.
